Canada’s Canola Frontier
Immerse yourself in all things canola on our Canola Frontier tour! We’ll see, touch, taste and maybe even smell canola. We’ll explore the fascinating history and science behind this Made in Canada crop, visit a canola farm to learn how it’s grown, and hear about the many existing and future benefits canola offers to the world.
The Business of Beef in Canada
This full-day tour involves a look at two key elements of the Canadian beef industry —getting calves on the ground and then producing finished cattle for the marketplace — all with sustainable, environmentally sound and humane animal welfare production practices.
The incredible farm-to-fork journey of Sunterra
From that beginning, Sunterra was born. Today, the family business includes meat processing and exports, grocery and food retail, catering and meal kit services, cooking classes, a charcuterie company (in partnership with another family) and, the latest venture, a year-round greenhouse operation that produces tomatoes and strawberries for local markets.
Caring for Livestock
We will spend the day meeting the people, organizations and places that are making livestock health and welfare a priority - while visiting some beautiful landscapes and scenery!
This is our Prairies
Join us on an eclectic tour that will give visitors a taste of prairie life and scenery. The area is known for its dramatic skies, rolling hills and acres of farmland. Photographers and storytellers are guaranteed big skies, waving wheat fields and farmers’ stories. So, join us to sip a glass of fruit wine, some bison jerky, learn how grain varieties are selected and then moved from the farm to the port.
