Dress code

  • No, however we’ve added this section to help people from around the world not play the guessing game when it comes to what to wear in Canada at this time of year and during the Congress.

  • Most will be in business casual attire… Meaing, jeans are ok … shorts are not. Check out this great article by Eventible that explains what business casual means.

  • Closed toed shoes are required for all Congress tours unless specified. Plan to be comfortable on the bus, but if you can, have an option for layers as the weather can change.

  • We ask that you be respectful of your fellow attendees and dress appropriately. After all, we’re all adults!

  • Dress to impress! This is the final evening of Congress with entertainment planned to get you up and off your feet! Awards will be given out and drinks will be had. Think no ballgowns or tuxes … but no jeans preferred. In Canada we would call this business formal.

  • We know that having breakfast in you PJ’s happens while inside your own home, however, we ask that you be appropriately dressed for the day as you’ll be surrounded by others.

  • Though there may not be time due to a jam packed schedule, there is a pool at the hotel in Calgary along with the hotel in Olds that registered guests may use, though fees may apply. For those staying at the Olds dorms, there is an aquatic centre guests can use that has an admission rate of $5-6 CAD per day.
