BC - Rocky Mountains pre-tour: June 23 - June 27

We will leave the Quality Inn in Richmond at 8 am, on June 23rd and arrive at the host hotel in Calgary approx 4:30 pm on June 27th. Your cost of $1,500 for double occupancy or $2,000 for single occupancy includes four breakfasts, five lunches, four dinners, four nights of accommodation, highway bus transportation and all fees. If you are travelling single but willing to share accommodation, let us know and we will do our best to match you. (Lunch & dinner only on Jun 23, Breakfast & lunch only on Jun 27)

Instead of flying into Calgary, fly into the Vancouver Airport a few days early and let us take you to Calgary via a five-day bus trip through southern British Columbia and several National Parks in the Rocky Mountains. Along the way, you will visit Canada’s largest berry farm market, a dairy working on becoming the world’s first net-zero dairy farm, several working ranches, a fruit packer, a winery, and one of Canada’s most diverse organic farms, with several other stops yet to be added. You’ll meet one of Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers and the originator of BC’s ecological goods and services program and many other interesting characters and industry leaders. There will be plenty of time to relax each evening, starting with a stop at the world-famous Harrison Hot Springs hotel where you can dip into their indoor or outdoor mineral pools or take a leisurely walk along beautiful Harrison Lake. You will spend our final night in beautiful Lake Louise and our final day on a guided tour of the Columbia Icefields as we tour some of the majestic Canadian Rockies. You will see and experience the incredible diversity of BC’s landscape everything from, from lush valleys to Canada’s only desert and everything in between. You’ll also get a close-up look at the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains and learn how climate change is decimating the Icefields and other glaciers which populate the Canadian Rockies.
